My name is Maira. I am a creative & Art director.
I was raised on the heart of a lovely village close to Barcelona, surrounded by nature and a healthy lifestyle. I am a creative professional with 4+ years of design experience. I started at a young age from a pen and a pencil, followed by Design, Art Direction and Motion in the Interactive world.

In 2005 i finshed my studies and started working in traditional advertising agency.
After some years within the industry my curiosity in new techonolgies brought me to Stockholm where i graduated in the Interactive Art Director program (june 2010). After that course I took an internship at Fantasy Interactive in Sweden.
This wonderful experience brought me to London where I am currently working as a creative at Blast Radius London.
During my career I worked for brands such as: Danone, BBC, Ikea, Thomson, Savlon, Bacardí, Starbucks, Nivea, Procter & Gamble among others.

Hyper island opened my mind in many ways. Among other things, I learned how to work in a team, identify and handle conflicts, communicate in a clear and direct way and give and receive feedback. Also, and very important, this education challenged me to get out of my comfort zone and do new things!
